Volunteer
Interpreters
The Florence Project seeks volunteers who are bilingual in English and a second
language to help our legal team and pro bono attorneys represent immigrants in
detention in Florence, Eloy, and Phoenix,Arizona. The majority of our clients are
native Spanish speakers but we have a recurring need for volunteer interpreters
who speak other languages as our clients come from all over the world.
Volunteer
requirements: should have the ability to travel to detention
facility, but not required.
Volunteers contact information is logged into our language bank and
attorneys with the Florence Project make requests for volunteer
assistance on an as needed basis.
If you are interested in
interpreting for a case with us please contact our
Development and Outreach Director, Jacque Ahrenberg
jahrenberg@firrp.org.
